I was gonna rant bout how my mum and i spent four long hours at the car service centre today, but then i decided that, 'hey, the world has enough sad stories to go around for probably twice its circumference; i don't need to add another one to the chain'.
so, resolution for the month (trying to be realistic here): post more about happy stuffs instead!
anyway, to kickstart the tradition, i have a second resolution - to try and do one good deed every day! i realised recently how good it makes you feel inside after you've done something to help someone, be it a small or big deed. please don't think that i'm an evil person who deliberately tries to not help anyone before this! T_T i just happened to experience much more frequent lately the warmth and satisfaction knowing that i've at least helped alleviate someone's worries by offering a small helping hand.
also, i think sometimes it's far too easy to unintentionally push aside the consideration for someone else's feelings, which, i think, is something i do on quite a frequent basis ._. i think it somehow stemmed from the fact that i used to be someone who cared too much, if i dare say so, about others/how they feel/what they think. then, somewhere along the way, i realised that it really doesn't matter if i cross a line or two occasionally; others get away with it so easily anyway.
okay i know this is damn potong stim, but i dunno where this post is going ._. i'm too sleepy to be coherent right nowwww. but anyway, bottom line is, i somehow also realised somewhere along the way, that it's better to be someone who cares and takes into account the feelings and well-being of others, rather than someone who doesn't give a rat's tail about others. i was never that person, and i don't think i'd be happy being one down that road. sure, i may get exploited by countless people out there, but well, like i said (and to put it in an honest fashion), i'm just born this way la wth. sometimes i think it's in my nature to be so blur and naive, haih.
k bye. sleepy doh.
p/s: i don't know why but this post somehow sounds kinda narcissistic which, i swear, is not how i intend it to sound like! i'm just hoping this will be a reminder to me one day, maybe a few years from now, if i turn into some b*tchy woman hahaha. k bai.
