Homai. my japanese oral test is on wednesday and i haven't started revising anything. NOTHING. i clearly overestimate myself at times -_- the written test is on the following week but i haven't memorised the katakana (japanese characters for english-derived words) either. kantoi besar *gulps

On a more sombre note, isn't it scary how age seems to be catching up with us so quickly? as tangible as leaving teenagehood and entering into adulthood is, what would be even more frightening is seeing how our parents have aged and health problems seem to be something of the norm now. our superhero dads have become more frail, our ever resilient mothers complain of aches and pains. discussions about health problems among aunts and uncles are met with agreements in unison that 'it's like that wan la, age is catching up with us'. conditions crop up every now and then.

i think it's a stark reminder of how life is so fragile.

okay sorry, abrupt ending but my thoughts are kinda cluttered now cos there's this constant pop-up notice in my brains telling me that i have 9 lessons of japanese to cram -_-
