Drops of Jupiter.

Life's grand at the mo. wah that just sounded like some rocker wanna-be HAHAH 'life's grand at the mo'. AIN. anyway back to the point, went for Jeng2's (for those unaware, she's Jeng Nee but i like calling her Jeng-jeng :D) surprise birthday cum farewell party during the weekend. her sisters were the ones organising it (so sweeet) and i was just liaising with them on who's coming yadda yadda. i was soooo glad that jeng2 was truly surprised and that i didn't give anything away, cos God knows that i have a great tendency to babble about surprises and ruin them :( obviously it's not because i want to but rather cause i'm usually too excited and the whole plan just plays and rewinds in my head continually -_-

so yeah, luuuuckily everything went well this time :D

i'm actually feeling really bummed that jeng2's leaving, albeit for about 4-5 months only. i don't think there's ever a time when you don't feel sad if one of your best friends is leaving the country. but jeng2's one of the most optimistic persons i know, so i'm gonna emulate her and look at the bright side too :)

my dad was having this sudden craving for mahjong so he decided to get a (mini) mahjong set. mini because in the family, only he and my sister know the game relatively well hahah. um well, you can count me in too if you don't consider not knowing what the chinese characters actually stand for being mahjong-illiterate. and dayum, was it hard finding the mahjong set. we searched practically the whole sunway pyramid only to find it in the unlikeliest of places - a scary-looking halloween mask shop in asian avenue complete with a chinese zombie statue guarding the entrance, which i didn't dare enter, i might add :P


and so we played yesterday. dad, sisters and i. mum doesn't encourage us playing mahjong because she doesn't want us to get addicted haha :)

my parents are funny la, i tell you. they kept telling each other to 'shh, don't make noise la' hahah kesian us being so scared that they'll actually start arguing. dad to mum when he's playing mahjong, mum to dad when she's watching a korean drama. anyway mana tau both of them laughing happily there -_-



okeh i'm getting sleepy. shall sleep. oh and and, aeroplane sighting tomorrow :) haven't seen aeroplanes up close in a loooong time so i'm pretty excited :D hopefully there'll be more international flights coming in :)
